I found a new artist the other day and really dug his style, nebezial on deviantart, and decided I must try and draw like him. So here is me messing around with a new style that's pretty fun

Mermaid: Before and After

I struggled most with the water in my first attempt, and am much happier with how I solved it the second go around. I also couldn't get the attractive female face for the mermaid in the earlier version. Overall I'm much happier with the new version.

Myth of the Mermaid

This is a redraw of an old illustration I did where I really enjoyed the concept but was never happy with the results. I wanted to completely redo it for the Art Order challenge. I'll post the comparison soon but for right now just the new one.
