Comic time!

MAN it's been a while since I've posted, sorry to my twelve followers. I saw dawn of the Planet of the Apes when it came out, loved it, but went on a useless rant about humanity afterwards..the girlfriend didn’t want to hear it so I made a comic to express my FEELINGS!

Old drawing

Something I did a few months ago, I was in a comic mood and tried to do some attractive females but still keeping them strong

Nomad

Found this on my work computer, a lunch project I never finished from a couple months ago. I was experimenting with some simpler rendering. It was fun, though!

Lady bird, of the Freak Show

Working on some fun designs of some humanoid animals that might exist in a traveling Freak Show. Inspired by the creative genius that is Ann Cross!

Another day, another study!

It was fun using Zues' arm as a secondary light source, I need to get more creative with my lighting

Lighting Study

I saw Tyson Murphy paint over a disney animation screen cap and thought it would be fun to do, and it was! I've warmed up with this the last couple mornings. I love being able to define a light source to a scene already decided, like an artist's coloring book.

Post!

I haven't posted in a while, I have some things I'm working on but nothing finished..here's a piece of what I have for one of my personal projects

Giant

First full illustration in a while. My girlfriend and I went on this drive through Morgan Territory in the East Bay on foggy day and all I could imagine were these behemoths wandering around...

For some reason Google's compression is extra poor on this one

Lunch time sketch

To cheer me up, my girlfriend said she visited some aliens before work, this is how she described them, so I had to draw them!

work sketch

I've been working on personal stuff when I can, but nothing worth posting yet, here's a work sketch a did on a break had to get something out!

First sketch with my new mac

Fan Art

In a fan art/comic kindof mood lately, more DBZ!

Testing Style

I found a new artist the other day and really dug his style, nebezial on deviantart, and decided I must try and draw like him. So here is me messing around with a new style that's pretty fun

Fun at School

Been helping my mom at her school after her classes are out and left some messages for her students..

Samurai Baboon

Just cause...

GIF time!

Mermaid: Before and After

I struggled most with the water in my first attempt, and am much happier with how I solved it the second go around. I also couldn't get the attractive female face for the mermaid in the earlier version. Overall I'm much happier with the new version.

Myth of the Mermaid

This is a redraw of an old illustration I did where I really enjoyed the concept but was never happy with the results. I wanted to completely redo it for the Art Order challenge. I'll post the comparison soon but for right now just the new one.

Hippo sketch

Been out of it for a while since I've been working on a larger illustration in my spare time but here is a hippo sketch..

Tribal Sketch

Sketch from work, the color is pretty messed up on here I'll have to fix that..
